Dear MBI Kaf Famililes,
The north american side of MBI travel day is now complete and both planes are in the air.
Both flights took off only a little bit later than expected, but well within the time-frame we can expect and our staff in Israel if very excited for their arrival in Ben Gurion Airport.
The Canadian flight (El Al 30) has been airborne for 6 hours already and is currently scheduled for a 6:48am landing in Tel Aviv.
The American flight (El Al 02) has recently taken off, and is scheduled for 12:17pm landing.
Thank you to everyone who helped today with all parts of the domestic travel necessary in order to get MBI to Israel. We very much appreciate the patience of all of those who had a bit of difficulty during the last few days making sure that everything was in order, and the smoothness with which many of the transitions today happened, is due in large part to your help.
Tomorrow, they will be met at the airport by our staff and when I get word of a safe landing, I will send another email out letting families know.
